Prototype “Sky1” speakers

Project description

One of our legacy projects, created as an experimental dive into custom speaker creation, they are were fully enclosed design with high fidelity Dayton Audio drivers and a 2nd order butterworth crossover. The housing’s were fully 3D printed but then also filled with a special plaster mix to enhance bass response over pure plastic.

The goal

High quality bookshelf speakers, completely from scratch.

Other information

Also featuring magnetic faceplates and an easily removeable outer shell allowing for the colours to be fully changed with minimal effort and time.

While these were very much a persoal prototype and regretfully they had to be torn down (hence the lack of better images), they still sounded incredible while we had them and one day will be bought back. New and improved.
