wearable art piece, turning a fabric owl into a sewn on 3D owl.

The goal
Translate the 2D pattern into dimensionally accurate 3D geometry. Maintaining flexibility and modernising the original aesthetic.
Other information
Created by pausing and inserting fabric, the 3D structure is fused directly through the mesh layers.
This allows for rigid or flexible 3D elements to be integrated into textiles while maintaining the garment's natural movement.
This technique can be replicated with almost any image or pattern and is ideal for custom branding, durable wearable patches, or integrating hard mounting points into soft goods.
